The album of ‘X=Prem’ launched, at a musical extravaganza with Cast, Crew and the Music Team

Kolkata, 8th April 2022, Friday: The entrancing music album of ‘X=Prem’ unveiled at a grand launch event at Lord of the Drinks today, in the presence of the star cast, music team and the stellar director Srijit Mukherji. ‘X=Prem’ is a musical romantic journey which tells a unique story of four different individuals connected with one string – Love. Helmed to be one of the eccentric movies from the house of SVF in 2022, X=Prem is all set to release on 13th May, 2022.
The starcast of ‘X=Prem’ comprises of Arjun Chakrabarty, Madhurima Basak, along with newcomers Anindya Sengupta and Shruti Das. In the narrative of the movie, music plays a key role. The album of ‘X=Prem’ has 6 exquisite tracks composed by debutant composer Sanai. Some of the most melodious singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Sahana Bajpaie, Samantak Sinha and others have given their voice for the delightful songs of the album. The lyrics of the songs has been penned by Dhrubojyoti Chakraborty, Barish and Srijit Mukherji. Srijit Mukherji wrote the lyrics for the song ‘Raikishori’ and he has given lyrics for a song after a long time.
Exhilarated about the album release, Director Srijit Mukherji said, “Whenever I make a film, I always try to work on something which is very unique and different. My constant focus remains on giving something new to the audience in every movie. I wanted to try a different genre infusing science and love together and that’s how X=Prem shaped up. I believe that music plays a very important part while dealing with romance. I am highly satisfied with the music of ‘X=Prem’ and the credit of these 6 beautiful tracks goes to our composer Sanai.”

I have one song in the soundtrack, ‘Bhalobashar Morshum’ and also there is one other version of the same song sung by Arijit. Lastly, it’s been few years that I haven’t worked with Srijit and I am quite happy that we both worked together for the album of ‘X=Prem’ after years.
