Gastronomical experience with the cast and crew of ‘The Eken’

Kolkata, 8 th April 2022,Friday : SVF in association with 6 Ballygunge Place hosted an exquisite event yesterday for its upcoming film ‘The Eken’ releasing on 14th April. The ensemble cast comprising of the beloved Eken Babu aka Anirban Chakrabarti, with his two favourite companions Bappaditya played by Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Pramatha played by the very popular RJ Somak Ghosh, Paayel Sarkar and Debasish Mondal along with Director Joydeep Mukherjee and the scriptwriter Padmanabha Dasgupta, were present at the event yesterday. They shared their experience of making the film and taking the ‘Maachey Bhaatey’ Bengali Detective to the big screens.
Excited about coming with the character of Eken Babu on the big screens, Anirban Chakrabarti said, “From all the characters which I have played on screen, the character of Eken Babu is one of my favourites and we are really excited about the fact that Eken Babu is coming on the big screens with ‘The Eken’. I hope that the audience will show the same love for the movie which they have showed for the series.”

Based on the story of Sujan Dasgupta, the script and the dialogues for the movie is written by Padmanabha Dasgupta. The title track of ‘The Eken’ has already garnered a very good response from the audience which is sang by youth favourite Sidhu and the music of the movie is composed by Aamlaann Chakraabarty.
