hoichoi creates a stir with the announcement of its NEW WEB SERIES

‘Case Jaundice’ – the new Original Series by hoichoi will stream from 15th May in Bengali & Hindi

Kolkata, 13th May 2020 – Bringing forth a breath of fresh air in such an unprecedented time, hoichoi has announced their new Original series titled ‘Case Jaundice’, which was entirely shot from home, with the release of its Official Poster today.

The reveal of the Poster was done by Mahendra Soni (the Co-Founder of hoichoi) and lead cast members Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ankush and Anirban Chakrabarti, followed by hoichoi causing a stir among the media and audience.

This series marks a lot of firsts for the cast – it is the first web series of Ankush, it is the first web series of Parambrata for hoichoi and finally, it is the first lead role of Anirban Chakrabarti on hoichoi besides his ever-green portrayal of Eken Babu.

Case Jaundice is a satire of 10 episodes. Two compelling lawyers, Mr. Sen played by Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Mr. Das played by Ankush present an endearing argument in a courtroom, one of them representing human beings and the other representing coronavirus. In each episode, a debate drives the narrative between Das and Sen, moderated by the Judge played by Anirban Chakrabarti, who at times becomes partial in his witty comments. Every episode has a different case put forth in front of the judge, resulting in humourous conclusions!

The Official Trailer of Case Jaundice will be launched on 14th May (tomorrow) through a Virtual Press Conference with the Lead Cast (Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ankush and Anirban Chakrabarti) and the director of the series, Subhankar Chattopadhyay on the hoichoi Facebook page at 5 PM.

Excited about his first web series with hoichoi, Parambrata Chattopadhyay stated, “It’s a relatable narrative for anyone living in any part of the World. We are all in a major crisis and imparting the correct dose of entertainment is very much needed by the audience now, more than ever. Case Jaundice is our way of giving them an exuberant experience.”

Ankush, ready to embrace his first web series, exclaimed, “Entertaining our audience now is crucial. Giving them the chance to sit at home and enjoy, get some laughs and bring a ray of sunshine with some relatable content is what we wish to do with Case Jaundice. Case Jaundice will be streaming from 15th May with its first 5 episodes, followed by the next 5 on 22nd May, exclusively on hoichoi.
