hoichoi brings forth its first Original based on a True Story this Eid

[Dhaka, May 15, 2019] hoichoi is bringing another masterpiece original web series ‘Money Honey’ on the occasion of Eid Festival in Bangladesh. This time, directors Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay are on board to materialise the engaging story of an urban protagonist and a chaos around him. Since this web series is based on a true story, it builds an intrigue among the audience the reason being – Dhaka has actually witnessed this incident five years ago!

Money Honey has been officially announced today by revealing the first look through a poster. The story revolves around a 32-year-old divorcee, Shahriar Kabir, working in Dhaka Stock Exchange. His lifestyle is filled with gambling, partying, women and alcohol. He is a smooth talker who can make anyone fall in love with him. Things were going fine in his life till a catastrophe hit the stock market and his life turns topsy-turvy. That’s where the story hits off.

Regarding the web-series, Sakib R Khan, Lead, ‘hoichoi Bangladesh’ said, “We are very excited about this one because this is the first time, we are embarking on taking a true incident from Dhaka and presenting the story as a hoichoi Original series. This indeed is the beginning of a beautiful era for Bangla content in online streaming platform. Money Honey has a unique narration and storytelling; we hope that the audience will immensely enjoy the series.”

Shaymol Mawla, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Lutfar Rahman George, Sumon Anwar, Nishat Priyom, and Naziba Bashar are the key cast members of the series. Money Honey is scheduled to stream on hoichoi after Eid-ul-Fitr.
