    Nov 14, 2019 Publication : spotboye

Actor Dhritiman Chatterjee will play the lead role as Professor Trilokeshwar Shonku. Actor Shubhashis Mukhopadhyay will play his well wisher Nokurbabu. The film is on popular character created by Satyajit Ray and it is none other than Professor Shonku, a crazy scientist

Today is children’s day and how can anyone miss Professor Shanku on this day. Professor Shanku was very famous cartoon character of children and recently a film trailer based on it is also released. SVF also wished children with his cute cartoon.

SVF took to its official Twitter handle and wrote, “How can #ProfessorShanku not be around when it’s #ChildrensDay!” Directed Sandip Ray, son of Satyajit Ray, was planning to make a movie on Professor Shonku for long time but was not getting suitable producers for the venture. The first film will be based on the story “Nokurbabu O El Dorado”.

Actor Dhritiman Chatterjee will play the lead role as Professor Trilokeshwar Shonku. Actor Shubhashis Mukhopadhyay will play his well wisher Nokurbabu. Apart from them, there will be many foreigner actors as per the demand of the story.

The trailer gives a kind of introduction to the two main leads Professor Shanku and Nakur Babu. Dhritiman Chatterjee and Shubhashis Mukhopadhyay are looking absolutely perfect in their characters. In the trailer we can see some exotic locations captured beautifully by cinematographer Soumik Halder. Also there are few computer graphics shots which are reasonably good.

Professor Shanku is a nostalgic memory of our growing up age and it will be a nice experience to walk down the memory lane once again while watching this film.
