Fresh from the success of Kaushik Ganguly’s Nagarkirtan, Riddhi Sen is turning heads in the trailer of Srijit Mukherji’s Vinci Da. The film is a thriller, where Riddhi has a cameo. Said the National Award-winning actor, “I was totally surprised to find my name in the main cast. I have a guest appearance in the film and the way my scene has been placed in the trailer is noteworthy. All credit goes to the director. The fact that people are watching Nagarkirtan and the trailer of Vinci Da is making them surprised all the more. Where I appear in the film, it’s all blood and gore and that brings about a twist in the tale.” Riddhi said the concept of cameos in Srijit’s films have always fascinated him. “When I watched Chotushkone, I was surprised by KG’s performance. That was one of the most talked about acts in the entire film. Then, my mother, Reshmi Sen, did a cameo in Ek Je Chhilo Raja and everyone was all praise for her. My mother too was pretty excited about the cameo. So, when this film came my way, I just said yes, as I wanted to work with the director,” said Riddhi. The actor said he had a relaxed shooting schedule for Vinci Da. “I shot for one day and there was no rush on the sets. I really enjoyed the shoot a lot. The director also allowed us to improvise and that made it all the more fun,” he added.
