He has delivered innumerable blockbusters and critically acclaimed performances. But Puj a 2019 will remain a memorable one for Prosenjit, who is revelling in the praise coming his way for playing Netaji and Gumnaami Baba in Srijit Mahe’s film Gumnaami, which releases in Hindi today. A t2 chat with Prosenjit.

Congratulations on the success of Gumnaand. What’s the best compliment you have received so far?

Someone toldme that I am becoming the Shand Gopal of Bengali cinema (laughs out loud). He was famous for playing historical figures. He was a huge name injatra. That person told me that I am becoming a biopic master! I received another compliment from an elderly person in a multiplex.
