Ishaa Saha, who looked ravishing in a red sari at the premiere of Durgesgorer Guptodhon, is happy with the response she is getting from the audience. Is it a coincidence that she and her director both wore red at the premiere? “Absolutely!,” said the actor. She added, “People are talking about our chemistry in the film and it is much appreciated. I love to visit halls as I get the immediate feedback from the audience. The way they are loving Jhinuk is unbelievable.” Talking about the film, Ishaa said, “In this film, Durga Puja plays an important part and we have shown many hidden facts about the festivity that can be a ready reference for all to learn about Durga Puja. The series talks about our history and culture that strikes the right chord with the audience. And on top of that, Sona da is a contemporary figure with whom the audience can relate to easily.”
After the success of the first treasure hunt venture, Guptodhoner Sondhane, Dhrubo Banerjee is back with the second installment of the series called Durgesgorer Guptodhon. Professor Subarna Sen, aka Sona Da (Abir Chatterjee) a professor of history, along with Abir (Arjun Chakraborty) and Jhinuk (Ishaa) decide to visit one of Sona da’s student’s ancestral mansion at Durgeshgor. The great grandfather of this student was an erstwhile zamindar and a renowned artist of Bengal. There is a myth that runs in the family that they had once received a massive treasure , but all traces and trails of it had been lost. Sona da, along with Abir and Jhinuk, join a festivity in that mansion in Durgeshgor and stumble upon the lost clues that may lead them in unearthing one of the greatest treasures of Bengal!
