January 2020 theatrical release – ‘Kathbirali’ becomes the first film to get a “World Premiere” on hoichoi!

Dhaka, April 24th, 2020: In an effort to showcase the best of talent in Bangla Industry, hoichoi has gotten on-board critically acclaimed romantic drama ‘Kathbirali’ as a World Premiere.

The World Premiere status indicates that after the release of the film, the first platform where you can watch it is hoichoi (even before it comes on any other medium) anywhere & anytime globally. Directed by Niamul Hasan Mukta, and starring Orchita Sporshia and Asaduzzaman Abir in lead roles, Kathbirali released in theatres across Bangladesh on 17th January 2020 and was highly recommended and praised by the media fraternity & critics.

Confident about getting more Bengali films on hoichoi as World Premiere, Business Lead of hoichoi Bangladesh, Sakib R Khan said: “This is our initiative to encourage the massive talent and potential among the cinema-enthusiasts who wish to showcase their art-form in creative ways. Kathbirali, streaming now on hoichoi as a World Premiere, is about Hasu, who is a young, innocent village boy. He has none to be called as family in this world. That’s why he has made all the villagers his family members. Hasu’s life revolve around, love of his life-Kajol and his childhood friend-Anis. When finally Hasu is going to be settled and live happily ever after with Kajol, life takes an unexpected turn and everything falls apart. When Hasu’s love and friendship are at stake, what will Hasu do?
