Eken Babu reaches Dhaka on his quest to unravel the truth!

The 3rd season of the popular franchise Eken Babu is streaming now on hoichoi

Kolkata, November 28th, 2019:  hoichoi’s hilarious and very “Bangali” detective Eken Babu has his newfound audience in Dhaka now! He is ready to explore the horizons with the 3rd season of the Eken Babu series, titled Eken Babu O Dhaka Rahashya, which is STREAMING on HOICHOI!

Anirban Chakrabarti reprises his role as Eken Babu, the eccentric yet extremely intelligent sleuth who has travelled to Dhaka along with his friends Pramatha (Debapriyo Bagchi) and Bapi (Soumyo Banerjee). Few other prominent star-casts include renowned actors Yash Rohan (Mamud), Shahdul Alam Sachchu (Masud), Ziaul Hasan Kislu (Jamal), Simul Khan (Mr. Khan) and Nawshaba (Meherunisa). The series is directed by Abhijit Chowdhury who previously done a hoichoi Film Manbhanjan (adapted from the story of the same name by Rabindranath Tagore).

Eken Babu O Dhaka Rahashya, which marks the 3rd season of the Eken Babu franchise, is about Eken going to Dhaka to attend Dhaka Literary Meet with his two friends Bapi and Pramatha. Their host from Dhaka, Mamud  who is also the owner of the publishing house from where Bapi’s novel is going to get published, invites the trio to his father Masud’s anniversary party. What initially seemed like a warm welcome to Dhaka for Eken Babu, Bapi and Pramatha soon turn into a web of mystery for them. Mamud’s father Masud dies of a heart attack in his own party. Even after being discouraged by Bapi and Pramatha, Eken starts investigating the sudden demise of Masud as the entire heart attack seems quite odd to him. Can an apparently natural death be proven to be a murder by Eken Babu?
