CRISSCROSS official Trailer revealed in front of stellar cast

Kolkata, 1st August 2018 – Crisscross, a Bengali film produced by SVF, has released their 3^rd song called Alo Chhaya sung by Armaan Malik and also, their Official Trailer which showcases an impressive ensemble cast of Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan, Jaya Ahsan, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, Arjun Chakrabarty, Ridhima Ghosh and Gaurav Chakrabarty. The film is slated to release nationally on 10^th of August.

Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, Crisscross highlights a world of hopes crashing and lives constantly at the verge of meltdown, five women struggle and celebrate their womanhood as their lives crisscross in a day. They all have stories to tell and reasons to live on, amidst all the odds.

It is important to live today, or else how do we dream about tomorrow? After much teasing with the previous 2 songs and their official teaser, Alo Chhaya and the Official Trailer both finally bring to light the crises of the leading ladies. The trailer was launched in front of the media and in the presence of the lead cast and crew in Hard Rock Café, Kolkata.

Meher (Nusrat Jahan), an aspiring actor is facing trouble with her family and landlord as she is unable to pay rent or provide money for her crippled brother. Next comes, Ira (Mimi Chakraborty) who is given a choice by her stay-at-home chef boyfriend, Archie (Arjun Chakrabarty) to choose between marrying him and her job as she keeps prioritising the latter over the former. Rupa (Sohini Sarkar), a troubled wife is stuck in a loveless marriage where her brother-in-law continuously letches and forces himself on her. Miss Sen (Jaya Ahsan), a successful loner has an established business but it is on the verge of closing down. Suzy (Priyanka Sarkar), a single mother is having financial issues keeping her son in school as her drug addict husband has moved out.

The new song, Alo Chhaya has flashbacks of their lives which helps the audience comprehend their one day which sums up all their decisions to be made. Will they rise?
