Pathikrit Basu’s Fidaa, starring Yash and Sanjana Banerjee in the lead, is a story about today’s youth and their perception of love. Ishan (Yash) is an impulsive guy, who takes decisions ruled by his emotions and suffers from anger-management issues. Khushi (Sanjana), on the other hand, is calm, practical and can handle situations in a mature way. “Can these two contrasting individuals make their love story work or will ego come in the way is what this film is all about,” said the director. “Today’s youth will be able to relate to it and want to fall in love again. The film shows how ego comes in between relationships and spoils it, which is very common nowadays. It’s a relatable story,” said Yash.

Yash in dual avatar

“Yash has a huge fan following and girls drool over him. In this film, he’ll be seen in two avatars. First half of the film will see him as a hyper, young, energetic, carefree man and in the second half, he becomes serious and contemplative. So, it’s a double bonanza,” said Sanjana.

Sanjana’s like a breath of fresh air

“The audience always wants to see new faces and fresh jodis and this film promises that and more. Khushi is that lovable girl, who can drive any guy crazy. Sanjana will make men go weak in their knees,” said Yash.
