Guptodhoner Sondhane enthralled the audience with its thrill factor and as promised, director Dhrubo Banerjee is back with one more film in the series. Scheduled to release sometime in May, the next installment in the series, Durgeshgorer Guptodhan, promises double the adventure and fun. The film is repeating the same star cast — Abir Chatterjee is returning as Sona Da, the smart history professor and Arjun Chakraborty, Ishaa Saha will be his sidekicks. The film is in the post-production stage and Dhrubo is hoping that the audiences will love this installment as well. Speaking of the film, Dhrubo shared an interesting anecdote with us. “Something unique happened at the shoot of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon. We were all shooting at Technician Studios when our beloved Prosenjit Chatterjee walked in. We were all naturally in awe as he walked in and realised he was looking for our cinematographer, Samik Halder. When he saw that we are shooting a rather technically-challenged section, he took interest in it. It was so inspiring to see a person at his level requesting to sit back and have a look. It was just an honour. He was with us for a while and before he left, his encouragement, his blessings, his love lifted the spirits of the entire unit. I feel, these little gestures from our seniors encourage us to push ourselves and do even better. A heartfelt thanks from myself and our entire unit of Durgeshkorer Guptodhon to him for his encouragement.”
