‘Uma’ first song: Anupam Roy will melt your heart with ‘Hariye Jawar Gaan’

The first song of ‘Uma’ is out now and it’s a melody for every soul. Written, composed, and sang by none other than Anupam Roy, the latest track ‘Hariye Jawar Gaan’ is already winning hearts. Featuring Jisshu Sengupta, Sayantika, Srabanti Chatterjee and a cute little Sara Sengupta, the video gives a glimpse of what the pivotal characters go through in this film.

The Srijit Mukherji directorial is an emotional drama in which a desperate father tries to create Durga Puja of Kolkata before its time for his terminally ill child to breathe her last breath. Check out the soul-stirring video song here:

Recently the ‘Uma’ trailer was launched at a grand event. To unveil the much-anticipated trailer, the team reached Kolkata’s famous Sobhabazar Rajbari and the entire venue along with the set up reminded everyone about Durga Puja. The trailer launch witnessed the presence of entire ‘Uma’ team including director Srijit Mukherjee, actor Jisshu Sengupta, Sara Sengupta, Sayantika Banerjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Neel Dutt, Anjan Dutt and many others.
