Trailer of a film tracing a woman’s journey is out

The trailer of Sudeep Das’s debut film Kuler Achaar was released on Tuesday. The film’s story revolves around a lady who’s keen on retaining her maiden surname after marriage and the resulting funny yet poignant complexities. The film stars Indrani Halder, Neel Mukherjee, Madhumita Sarcar and Vikram Chatterjee. Madhumita and Vikram play a couple and Indrani, who’ll be seen on the big screen after a hiatus of almost five years, will be seen playing Madhumita’s mother-in-law. Neel, on the other hand, will be seen playing the role of Mithi’s father-in-law. The music of the film has been composed by Prosen Er Dol Bol and the background score is by Savvy.

Speaking to us, Indrani said, “It feels great to be back after such a long gap. The message of the film is extremely insightful; every woman will relate to it and find it relevant in any situation in life. The film is crafted with love.”

Both Vikram and Madhumita have already become a popular on-screen jodi after the release of the film’s first song, Bhul Korechey Bhul. “We are extremely thrilled and elated to be a part of this wonderful project. The first song of the film has already garnered huge response and we really hope that our film is also appreciated. Really looking forward to it,” Vikram said.
