Azmeri Haque Badhon plays Muskan Zuberi in REKKA Hoichoi
The show is based on Mohammad Nazim Uddin’s novel by the same name
An alluring figure ascends a bifurcated staircase. Muted light seeps through an ornate stained glass clad window. She strides along an ancient hallway, revealing her name, Muskan Zuberi, with an aura of mystery fused in temptation.
Acclaimed actor Azmeri Haque Badhon claims the lion’s share of screen time in the trailer of Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming series, Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Ashenni (REKKA). She is joined by a stellar ensemble cast that includes Indian actors Rahul Bose, Anjan Dutt, Anirban Bhattacharya and Anirban Chakrabarti.
The show is based on Mohammad Nazim Uddin’s novel by the same name.
Back in May, Srijit Mukherji praised Badhon’s performance as Muskan Zuberi and slammed ‘countless cynics’ who initially questioned her casting.

On May 26, Srijit wrote on Facebook, “Can only say I doff my hat to your dedication, Azmeri Haque. Fighting off inhuman shooting conditions, countless cynics who questioned your selection and immensely demanding schedules, you have provided the winning edge to the mysterious femme fatale Mushkan Zuberi and made me very proud!”
Produced by Hoichoi, the web series will be available to stream from August 13.
