Stars galore at film’s special screening

Director Arindam Sil was present at the special screening of his Durga Puja release, Byomkesh Gowtro, at a south Kolkata plex recently. The event was attended by several well-known faces from the film fraternity, apart from the film’s cast and crew.

Arindam, who was seen ushering in the guests, said, “This Byomkesh film is way different from the previous ones. I’ve been getting a lot of good reviews about both Abir (Chatterjee) and Arjun’s (Chakrabarty) performances. The film has an interesting twist that will take the audience by surprise.”

We spotted actresses Tnusree Chakraborty, Bibriti Chatterjee, Anindita Bose and Sauraseni Maitra, looking gorgeous in their casual best. Sohini Sarkar and Priyanka Sarkar, who play pivotal roles in the film, gave the event a miss.
