Srijit Mukherji has a busy summer ahead

While his latest offering ‘Shah Jahan Regency’ continues to win the audience Srijit Mukherji has a busy summer ahead. Soon he will be busy with Back-to-back shooting for two of the highly anticipated projects – ‘Gumnami’ and ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’. In between he will be seen as a narrator in a TV ‘Teleplex’. The ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ director has already wrapped up the dubbing session of his upcoming thriller ‘Vinci Da’ starring Rudranil Ghosh, Ritwick Chakraborty, Anirban Bhattacharya and Sohini Sarkar in the lead.

Come summer, Srijit’s most ambitious project ‘Gumnami’ will go on floors first and then the shoot for ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ will start. He will again come back to ‘Gumnami’ after completing the Kakababu film. Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aryann Bhawmik will reprise the role of Kakababu and Sontu respectively in the adventure flick whose recce has already been done. ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ will release during this Puja.

We already know, Gumnami will star Prosenjit Chatterjee as the titular character and the historical thriller revolves around a mysterious man called Gumnami Baba who was often rumoured to be Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose himself in disguise.
