Sreelekha Mitra might be considered for Dupur Thakurpo’s next season | TOI Portal

Ever since Bigg Boss 10 fame and Bhojpuri actress Monalisa announced that she will be playing Jhuma Boudi in the second season of web series Dupur Thakurpo, viewers have been wondering why popular TV actress Sreelekha Mitra, who was considered for season 2, was replaced. Dupur Thakurpo is the tale of a few young boys, who are attracted to a popular woman in their neighbourhood. Hoichoi has roped in Bigg Boss fame Monalisa, to play the lead character of Jhuma Boudi. The first season was played by Swastika Mukherjee, and Monalisa stepped into the shoes of the character when the former opted out of the show in the second season. The writer of the web series, Shahana, has said that Sreelekha might be considered for the third or fourth season. Playing lovestruck boys in the series are young actors Indrajit Majumder, Apratim Chatterjee, Soumendra Bhattacharya, Kartikey Tripathi and Taufeeq Ahmed.
