Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh lend voice to Srijit’s next

The music album of X=Prem was unveiled on Friday in the presence of the star cast, music team, and the director of the film Srijit Mukherji at a city restro pub. X=Prem is a musical romantic journey that tells a story of four different individuals connected with one string – love. The star cast of X=Prem comprises Arjun Chakrabarty, Madhurima Basak, Anindya Sengupta, and Shruti Das. In the narrative of the movie, music plays a key role. The album has six tracks composed by debutant composer Sanai. Singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Sahana Bajpaie, Samantak Sinha and others have lent their voices to the songs of the album.

Excited about the album, Shreya Ghoshal said, “I have one song in the soundtrack, Bhalobashar Morshum and also there is one other version of the same song sung by Arijit. I can ensure that the melodious tune of this song will be loved by the listeners. Lastly, it’s been a few years that I haven’t worked with Srijit and I am quite happy that we both worked together after years. The treatment of this film is very unique and the black and white tone of the movie is something that I am really looking forward to.”

Exhilarated about the album release, Srijit said, “Whenever I make a film, I always try to work on something which is very unique and different. My constant focus remains on giving something new to the audience in every movie. I wanted to try a different genre infusing science and love together and that’s how this one shaped up. I believe that music plays a very important part while dealing with romance. I am highly satisfied with the music of X=Prem and the credit of these six beautiful tracks goes to our composer Sanai.” He added, “The film, a romantic journey, deals with the complexities of human emotions and selflessness of love as well as the pain one has to face in his life.”
