Rudranil happy to see the craze surrounding ‘Vinci Da’ trailer

He is not only one of the central characters, but also has penned the story of Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Vinci Da’. And Rudranil Ghosh is elated to see the overwhelming response the recently released trailer has received till now.

The trailer itself echoes the agony of a simple man, more specifically a makeup artist, who believes ‘art is science and science is art’. We already know Rudranil plays the makeup artist.

When asked how it feels to write on another artist’s struggles and pain, the seasoned actor was visibly excited to share his thoughts.

“Being an artist when write something about another artist it moves me. It’s true the audience doesn’t know the pain, suffering of a makeup artist. Now penning this emotion connects me with the thriller elements. I have seen Somnath Kundu for long and two years ago he was doing some prosthetic makeup on me. That’s when the idea came. I decided to write something on a makeup artist. And when its thriller nobody else can master the genre than Srijit Mukherji,” said Rudranil.

Meanwhile, Anirban Bhattacharya too is quite excited to be a part of this thriller: “I am thankful to Srijit Mukhuji for giving me the character of a police officer Bijoy Poddar. It’s not like a central character but has a significant part to play in the narrative.”
