Parambrata Chatterjee joins Srijit Mukherji for SVF’s Dwitiyo Purush

In 2011 SVF and Srijit Mukherji came up with the thriller Baishe Srabon which went on to become a blockbuster.

Now eight years later the makers – SVF and director Srijit Mukherji have announced the spin-off to Baishey Srabon with the feature titled Dwitiyo Purush with the tagline – ‘Baishe Srabon er por… Dwitiyo Purush’.

The story of Dwitiyo Purush will commence from where Baishe Srabon had left off and will see popular actor Parambrata Chatterjee reprise the role of chief detective Abhijit Pakrashi and Raima Sen bring back her character Amrita. There will be a couple of new characters who will be essential to this spin-off but to keep the intrigue, the names will be revealed when the audience will be least expecting it.

Produced by SVF, the project will go on floors soon and is scheduled to release January 23, 2020.
