hoichoi announces their line-up till year end including Barkha Bisht’s Kamini & Flora Saini’s Dupur Thakurpo Phul Toss

Bengali entertainment platform hoichoi recently revealed their content line up. Take a look here:

Swastika Mukherjee has recently wrapped up her next project with hoichoi titled The Stoneman Diaries. The series has her in the lead along with Rajatava Dutta. It is a thriller about the stone-man murders taking place in late 80s around Calcutta. The tentative streaming month is August.

Next in line comes Kamini starring Barkha Bisht in the titular role. The actor will be returning to the Bengali screens after a long hiatus and this also marks her first Bengali web series and a debut on hoichoi. If one keeps an eye on her Instagram profile, she has been posting beautiful pictures from the shoot locations. The series also stars Saurav Das, Apratim Chatterjee and Trina Saha. The tentative streaming month is September.

For the Durga Puja delight, there is Flora Saini starrer Dupur Thakurpo Phul Toss. This marks Flora’s first Bengali project. Then there is the tentatively titled Parbo Ek. It is a Durga Puja story about a family reunion, one unwanted guest, two dead bodies and a whole lot of mystery. The tentative streaming month is October.

Durgeshgorer Guptodhon that hit the screens in May this year is getting a world digital premiere on hoichoi on September 1. The film which stars Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty and Ishaa M Saha in lead roles is directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. Ishaa will also be returning with Japani Doll, the second season of her acclaimed web series Japani Toy. Rajdeep Gupta and Ishaa are back to play the mismatched couple who end up getting married after all but Rajdeep’s character Joy Banerjee could not let go of his quirky business ideas. This time he has started an online website to sell sex dolls! Will this business prove to be fruitful for Joy? The tentative streaming month is August.

Hello Season 3 will be streaming during Diwali. Raima Sen and Priyanka Sarkar are all set to start shooting from September. The tentative streaming month is November.

As we reach towards the last month of the year, two magnum opuses await us! There is Byomkesh Season 5 with Anirban Bhattacharya. The actor will put on his Satyanweshi glasses once again to solve the case of Khuji Khuji Nari (The Will That Vanished). There’s also Devdas that will be directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya. After Charitraheen, Debaloy will do a modern retelling of another Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay period novel. However, Devdas has a twist as it involves a murder mystery. The tentative streaming month is December.
