Official Trailer Launch of Dhanbad Blues; A Path Breaking Web-Series on Hoichoi

The official trailer of Hoichoi’s new web-series Dhanbad Blues was released in the presence of Rajatava Dutta, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Solanki, Rupanjana Maitra, director Sourav Chakraborty, producer Madhumita Chakraborty and others.

Rajatava Dutta plays a failed film maker, Mrinal Sen who lives in North Kolkata along with a dozen of other tenants. He has great passion for making films but is hounded by bad luck. What keeps him going is the dream of making his mark in cinema. He receives a call from an unknown benefactor who asks him to make a film. He receives the money in his bank account. Next he travels to Jharkhand and finds himself in the colliery region, ruled by the local media. What happens next?

Speaking at the occasion, director Sourav Chakraborty said “Thinking about the story was very easy but when it came to the execution, I was worried as to how to do it. But I was firm that I will be shooting it. And with the help of my team members, we finally did the shooting”.

Solanki’s first web-series is Dhanbad Blues. The actress was initially skeptical when she got the call from the production house. But when she heard the script, she was blown away. However she also thought as to how the shooting will be done. However after the shoot was over, she mentioned that she had a great experience.

Sahana Dutta mentioned that the director can be very nagging at times. However his vision was so great that she had to agree with his nagging attitude and actually support him in his endeavour of shooting the film.

The new web-series will start streaming from 15^th December on Hoichoi. Do not miss it!!
