Now, A Biopic On Heptathlon Star Swapna Barman

National Award-winning director Srijit Mukherji has confirmed that he will direct a biopic on Swapna Barman, who became India’s first ever heptathlete to win a gold medal at the Asian Games in 2018. Making the announcement on Tuesday, Mukherji said he has roped in Bengali actress Sohini Sarkar to essay the role of Barman who became an overnight sensation after her Asiad feat.
