There was a time when his mother would light a candle in dearth of electricity and serve him food. For Jisshu U Sengupta, that was ‘candle-lit dinner’. From there, he now owns a house in Lake Gardens and is in demand in not one, but three film industries. Setting his foot out of Bengal has also given him a perspective on Tollywood, where he belongs. ‘Often, when you step out, you get to see the cracks on the outer wall’, he tells us, setting the ball rolling for an afternoon of adda.
