Listen to the soulful reprised version of ‘Aloshyo’ from ‘Uma’

Srijit Mukherji’s films have the tradition to break box office records and achieve new milestones. To add a cherry on top of it, Bengali music lovers are offered some dulcet tunes that stay in our hearts for a long while. His next film ‘Uma’ is no exception to this. The second track of the film ‘Aloshyo’, sung by Surangana Bandyopadhyay, has already garnered over 300K views in one week. It’s a soft track that beautifully explores the world of ‘Uma’, the main character of the film, played by little Sara Sengupta.

This mellifluent track was initially a part of Anupam Roy’s first album ‘Durbine Chokh Rakhbo Na’, but this time around, Roy didn’t sing it. Instead, he opted for Surangana’s beautiful voice. However, the reprised version of the song has just been released and this time around both Anupam and Surangana have lent their voice for this beautiful track. Watch the video here:
