It’s ‘playback’ time for actor Anirban Bhattacharya!

Anirban Bhattacharya loves to be a bit unconventional. The versatile actor has always flown against the tide setting examples. Be it stage or cinema, Anirban’s flawless acting performances have literally moved us, the latest being Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ where he essayed the shady character of Satya Banerjee, brother-in-law of Raja Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury. And now Anirban is set for his playback debut! Yes, in Srijit’s next ‘Shah Jahan Regency’, the talented actor has lent his voice for a song written and composed by Prosen. Indraadip Das Gupta has arranged the music for this special song.

This is the first time Anirban is doing a playback in his career. The song has both male and female versions but in the film the male version has been used. Those close to Anirban already know his singing talent as his voice is quite popular among friends.

With an ensemble cast including Parambrata Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Mamata Shankar and Anjan Dutt among others, ‘Shah Jahan Regency’ is set to release on January 18.
