Ishaa makes a sweet confession!

Ishaa Saha will soon be back as Jhinuk in Dhrubo Banerjee’s Durgeshgorer Guptodhon — a Bengali adventure thriller film and a sequel to Guptodhoner Sandhane. The actress said in the first film, she was introduced later and the audience got a taste of the camaraderie between Abir Chatterjee aka Sonada and Arjun Chakrabarty aka Abir. “This time around, I am there since the start. The movie-goers will be able to see the bonding we share. Also, since we have already done a movie together, we knew how to react in what situation,” she said. Ishaa added that she has many memories from the shoot. The film also stars Anindya Chattopadhyay and June in character roles and they would usually get over early on most days. “That was always a bone of contention with us. We would tell them, ‘Ki khub moja’. During our outdoor shoot in Jhargram, they would spend the evenings touring different places and tasting sweets. They would also bring sweets for all of us. I would usually end up eating the most. The day before the two of them left, they had brought gajar ka halwa and forgot to carry it back home. I polished off that too and everyone would pull my leg for it,” she recalled. Ishaa said even if it was challenging since expectations are riding high on the sequel, she found it easier to play Jhinuk this time around. “I have already played the part once and that made my job easier,” she told us.
