Hoichoi’s New Bengali Series ‘Boyfriends & Girlfriends’ Is A Coming-of-Age Drama

Hoichoi TV has just announced its latest Bengali series, titled “Boyfriends & Girlfriends”. The platform also unveiled a chic pink & blue logo for the show, the colours obviously chosen to represent both the sexes. “Boyfriends & Girlfriends” will premiere on Hoichoi TV on 3rd September.

The show has been written and designed by Mainak Bhaumik. Bhaumik has earlier directed well-received films such as Cheeni, Ghare Bhaire, Bornoporichoy, Aamra, among scores of others. He has also made several award-winning documentaries on endangered Indian ethnic folk art forms and culture.

“Boyfriends & Girlfriends” is a coming-of-age romantic comedy, which narrates the tale of three childhood best friends and their relationships. The series stars Ishaa Saha, Riddhi Sen, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Ujan Chatterjee, Adrija Roy and Madhurima Ghosh in primary roles.

“Boyfriends & Girlfriends” is slated to premiere on Hoichoi TV on 3rd September.
