‘Goyenda Junior trailer’ retains the charm of a thriller for all ages

We all know Mainak Bhaumik‘s next ‘Goyenda Junior’ introduces Rwitobroto Mukherjee as a junior    detective for the first time.

The film’s trailer, which was dropped online recently, seems to be cinematically sleek while the background score is quite appealing as well.

Often bullied at school, an orphan Vikram (Rwitobroto) receives an opportunity to bloom to his fullest potential when he accompanies Sanjay Banerjee, a senior officer of the crime branch played by Santilal Mukherjee, incidentally Rwitobroto’s real-life father.

Going by the trailer, it’s safe to say Rwitobroto is completely engrossed in an inquisitive teenage boy who turns into a detective, but the trailer doesn’t reveal anything about the crime keeping it a suspense.

Gairik Sarkar’s cinematography is praiseworthy and so is Sayan Mitra‘s refreshing voice in the title track. Vikram’s last words, as we hear in the trailer, concludes he has solved the case. Like an inquisitive adventurous teenager, he enquires whether he can keep a gun now for his protection.

The trailer successfully encapsulates the charm of a thriller ideal for children and adults alike. Rwitobroto playing Vikram doesn’t look overambitious in pursuit of a murderer.
