‘Crisscross’: The intriguing second poster of the film is winning hearts

Birsa Dasgupta’s next titled, ‘Crisscross’ features Mimi Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Jaya Ahsan, Nusrat Jahan and Sohini Sarkar in lead roles. To intensify the craze surrounding the film after the release of the trailer, the makers have released a brand new poster featuring the five leading ladies which is quite intriguing and has been doing the rounds of the social media ever since.

The film encapsulates the hardships of five lonely women from different sections of the society. The lead characters Ira, Suzy, Ms. Sen, Meher and Rupa aptly epitomize the turmoil and crisis of women face these days; no matter how educated and financially secured they are. Mimi The leading ladies respectively portray the dilemmas, desires, and troubles of a woman.

According to the narrative, Ira has become a workaholic photojournalist who has to choose between her career and personal life. Suzy is a single mother facing the odds of the society while raising her only child. Rupa is a victim of domestic violence and torn apart in a failed marriage. Miss Sen is an arrogant and rebellious woman running her own ad agency. Meher is an aspiring actress struggling to find good work.
