In this film, Sona Da aka Professor Subarna Sen who is a history professor at Oxford returns to his roots to discover a long-lost treasure closely related to Bengal‘s cultural heritage. Abir Chatterjee plays the character of Sona Da in this film and the actor is quite excited about his new role. This is something different from the usual detective characters he has played earlier. Arjun Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha will play his sidekicks.

All who have already watched ‘Guptodhoner Sondhane’ must have been wondering whether the magical trio of Sona Da, Aabir, and Jhinuk will be back. Well, the makers have already confirmed, they will be back really soon. To double the fans’ excitement, the teaser poster of the same was also released. The next installment of this series has been named ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’.
