Actor Arya Dasgupta is elated to play ‘Guddu’

With grown-up Guddu and Guriya, the daily soap ‘Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane’ is ready to entertain the audience. While, actress Pratyusha Paul is playing the grown-up Guriya aka Rikhiya, actor Arya Dasgupta has bagged the lead role of Guddu aka Rocky in the serial. Both the actors are thoroughly enjoying playing the characters.

Pratyusha is a known face of Bengali television industry and has featured in many television serials. Arya, on the other hand, has done film and web-series earlier and the actor is elated to play the lead in this television serial.

Interestingly, Pratyusha and Arya are sharing the screen for the first time.

The young actor is elated to essay the character Guddu. The television serial which revolved around two kids Guddu-Guriya and their friendship. The kids used to stay in an orphanage and stood by each other during thick and thin. Child actors Abhirup Sen (playing Guddu) and Pritha Ghosh (as Guriya ) stole the hearts of the audience with their innocence.

It will be interesting to see how the fresh lead helps the serial to score in terms of TRPs.
