Audience gets to witness the teaser of SVF’s upcoming Magnum Opus ‘GOLONDAAJ’ for the first time, in a star-studded Grand Teaser Launch ceremony!

Kolkata, Thursday, 16th April 2021: SVF, in an event yesterday, finally unveiled the much-awaited teaser of its upcoming biggest production, ‘Golondaaj’, a historic fiction based on the life of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikhari, a legend noted for introducing football as a sport in India. Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee and with superstar Dev in the lead, Golondaaj’s official poster that was released few days back, grabbed huge attention from the audience thereby leading to higher anticipation. The evening of the grand teaser launch opened with adept team of cast and crew speaking about the film and experience which was followed by showcasing of the teaser and a short content video that documented the making of the entire film.

The boast-worthy ensemble cast of Golondaaj includes the best talents of the industry- namely Dev, Ishaa Saha, Anirban Bhattacharya, John Bhattacharya, Srikanto Acharya, Indrashish Ray, Alexx O Nell, RJ Agni, Joydeep Mukherjee and others. Golondaaj is a historical drama feature showcasing the journey of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, known as the ‘Father of Indian Football’, the first Indian to ever play football and thereby, introducing it as a mainstream sport in the country! The love for football amongst Bengalis’ dates back to the late 1800s, when an Indian and more importantly a Bengali, imagined and dared to imbibe Football amongst people by opening several professional clubs for the sport. The film also narrates how one man goes on to challenging the existing social structure and leading the way like a true leader on the field…the ripples of his action resonate across the country.
