Arindam Sil’s Film Byomkesh Gowtro’s Cast Unveiled; Shooting to Begin From 6th June Onward

SVF and director Arindam Sil’s, Puja release, Byomkesh Gowtro cast has been finalized and the shoot is all set to begin from 6th June onward.

Abir Chatterjee will be donning the hat of Byomkesh Bakshi after a two year hiatus and Sohini Sarkar will be seen in the role of Satyabati.

However, Arindam Sil’s Byomkesh Gotro greets us with a bagful of surprises. Byomkesh’s constant companion in resolving any crime has always been Ajit and this time the character of the famous writer and partner to Satyanweshi will be enacted by none other than actor Rahul Banerjee. This is the first time Rahul would be seen onscreen as Ajit.

Byomkesh Gowtro which is inspired from Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s story ‘Rakter Daag’. Satyakam, an integral character in the film and will be played by Arjun Chakraborty.

Anjan Dutt for the first time joins hands with director Arindam Sil to play the character of Ushapoti Das, Satyakam’s father, in the film.

The music for the film will be composed by Bickram Ghosh and the costumes for the film are by designer Abhishek Roy.

Byomkesh Gowtro is scheduled to release around Puja 2018.
