‘Professor Shanku Sky Balloon’ lights up Kolkata Horizon

Kolkata, 10th December 2019 – As the Indian audience gears up for the most talked about films releasing this Christmas & New Year – Professor Shanku O El Dorado (based on a story by the immortal Satyajit Ray), the makers have decided to augment the promotions for the film with innovative designs at every step. After the inaugural introduction of Professor Shanku through AR & VR for the first time in India, the makers have decided to light up the Kolkata horizon with ‘Professor Shanku Sky Balloon’, an initiative taken up for the first time for any film in Bengal.

Located inside the Science City premises in Kolkata, at a height of 100 feet, the ‘Professor Shanku Sky Balloon’ is placed at an optimum position from where it can be viewed by city travellers from various parts of the city during the day and the lit up version is visible at night across different parts of the city. Interestingly the location for the ‘Professor Shanku Sky Balloon’, (Science City) has been laid out paying ode to the protagonist Professor Trilokeshwar Shanku, a science genius created by Ray who was way ahead of his time! 

The ‘Professor Shanku Sky Balloon’ becomes the first of its kind to be introduced in Bengal for a film and will be a star attraction for kids and their families as they soak their spirit into the festivities of Christmas & New Year.
