‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ – Releasing in Bengali & Hindi across India today!

Kolkata, 04th February 2022: Based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s ‘Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel’, National award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ topping the bill with Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmik, Anirban Chakrabarti, is all set to take over the theatres regionally, nationally as well as in Bangladesh from today. With the third time installment of the series the team yet again collaborated with SVF, which has relentlessly delivered the audience some of the greatest features of the time.

The adventure flick journey follows around a relaxed trip to Kenya and what happens next forms the kernel of the film. Anirban Chakrabarti joined as a new cast with an intriguing role in the third film of ‘Kakababu’ franchise.

According to the director, Srijit Mukherji, “As it’s not just a regional release this time I am genuinely looking forward to the widespread responses of the audience across the country. After portraying the surreal locations of Egypt and the mighty Mount Everest, it was time to experience the deep jungles of South Africa. The film magnifies the actual feel of African wildlife and maintains the sanctity of the adaptation.”

The background score and music is composed by Indraadip Dasgupta. The music trio Upal Sengupta, Anindya Chatterjee, Chandril Bhattacharya jointly sang ‘Teen Tirikke Noy’ and Rupam Islam created magic with his title track, ‘Phire Elo Kakababu’. “It was very special to work with the whole team and the composition was to be intimate and resonating. Seeing the response of the music release it was really enthralling. It certainly merges the imagery and creates a sense of thrill”, said by Indraadip Dasgupta.

Positive about working with Srijit Mukherji again, Aryann Bhowmik said, “I am thrilled about the Regional, National and Bangladesh releases on the same day.
