Yash-Mimi starrer romantic thriller ‘Mon Jaane Na’ eyeing a Holi release

The first look of Yash Dasgupta and Mimi Chakraborty starrer romantic thriller is finally here and it has already sent the social media into tizzy with fans showering praise for the pair. Titled ‘Mon Jaane Na’, this is renowned Bollywood script writer Shagufta Rafique’s directorial debut after his critically acclaimed scripts for Bollywood hits ‘Woh Lamhe’, ‘Raaz- The Mystery Continues’, ‘Jism 2’, ‘Jannat 2’, ‘Ashique 2’ and ‘Raaz 3’.

The thriller, produced by SVF, is eyeing a Holi release. Initially the film’s title was ‘Taxi Driver’ but later the makers confirmed the title will be changed.

The poster features a bearded Yash holding a gun alongside Mimi with a yellow taxi in the background. It looks every bit intriguing.

Interestingly, initially Shagufta Rafique was supposed to direct a horror flick titled ‘Seven’ starring” Nusrat Jahan opposite Yash Dasgupta but later the makers decided to make a romantic thriller. While the male lead remained same, Mimi replaced Nusrat to play the female lead.
