‘When we need a good song, we go to Anupam’

Abir, who sprained his lower back during a gym session, shares his experience of working in the film

Abir, hope you are recuperating well. How was your experience of working with Jisshu, Anupam and Mainak in Bornoporichoy?

I am much better now. It was great working with the team. Anupam is mostly behind the scenes. Whenever we are in dire need of a good song to go with our film, we approach him. I began with talking about him because he is my favourite. For most of his songs, it so happens that the song plays in the background while we are emoting in front of the camera. I have not yet been fortunate enough to lip sync for Anupam’s songs. About Mainak, he usually shifts focus from Bedroom to Ghare & Baire and then back to indoors again.
