‘Uma’ new song: Latest track ‘Esho Bondhu’ reunites two old friends Sidhu and Pota

Ahead of its grand release on June 1, Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘Uma’ is winning hearts with soul-stirring tracks and the third song from the most-awaited film has just been released. The latest video song’s title ‘Esho Bondhu‘ echoes the essence Srijit promises to deliver through ‘Uma’. It’s all about people coming together as friends to bring the smile back to a little girl’s face, to make her dream come true.

Composed by Anupam Roy, the soft number has been sung by the famous pair Sidhu and Pota, from the Bengali band Cactus. We all know how they used to create magic together on stage shows with an electrifying atmosphere. The first scene featuring Anjan Dutt in this song ‘Esho Bondhu’ actually marks the spirit of Uma, the titular character. It gives an exhilarating vibe to us. Watch the video here:

Anjan Dutt will be seen as a broken man (Brahmananda) who was once an established film director. His main mission which is highlighted through this soul-stirring song is to don the director’s hat for the entire ‘Aukal Bodhon’, a fake Durga Puja.
