Srijit Mukherji is all set to screen Ek Je Chhilo Raja at the Stuttgart Indian Film Festival on July 20. This film has also been eligible for three awards namely German Star of India in the Feature Film category, the Director’s Vision Award and the Audience Award.
As per the reports of a leading daily, Srijit will be travelling to Germany next week. Also, in an interview with the daily the director spoke about the film being screened at Stuttgart. “I am hopeful. Ek Je Chhilo Raja is one of the most celebrated films that I have made. It was well appreciated by the audience in Kolkata after its release and now it is doing the rounds in the festival circuit. Earlier, it went to several other festivals, including Palm Springs International Film Festival. Now, I am looking forward to this one,” he said.
Srijit’s films have been having a good run in the film festival circuit. His last release Vinci Da was screened at the London Indian Film Festival.
On the work front, Srijit Mukherji next is Gumnaami starring Prosenjit in the lead role. The film is produced by SVF Entertainment.
