Srijit Mukherji announces his next titled Kakababur Protyaborton starring Prosenjit Chatterjee

Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF) and director Srijit Mukherji are all set to reunite for the third installment of Kakababu titled Kakababur Protyaborton. Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, fondly known as Bumbada, will return to don the role of Kakababu aka Raja Roy Chowdhury. Also returning to revive the character of Santu will be actor Aryaan Bhowmick. Anirban Chakrabarti , who is famous for essaying the role of Eken Babu, will be seen in the film as well.

The plot of the film will be adapted from Jangoler Moddhe Ek Hotel from Sunil Gangopadhyay’s famous Kakababu series. It will be shot extensively in the forests of Kenya and South Africa and is scheduled to go on floors soon.

Kakababur Protyaborton is slated for a Pujo 2019 release.
