Sohini on her characters in Bibaho Obhijaan and Vinci Da

Sohini who is shooting for Birsa Dasgupta’s Bibaho Obijaan at Bengal Chamber of Commerce today, said, “Today is the third day of the shoot. I play Maya in the film. She is married to Rudranil and is quite a drama queen. She enjoys watching serials and is religious in nature. It’s safe to say that she thinks life is like mega serial! The film is a rom-com and I am sure the audience will love it. Maya is just the opposite of what I am like in real life,” said the actress.

Sohini is also excited to play an important part in Srijit Mukherji’s Vinci Da. “I play Jaya in the film. The story is about an obsessed make-up artiste, who’s struggling to make his own place in the industry completely on the basis of own talent and capabilities. Although his father was a renowned make-up artist, he somehow failed to make his mark and got fewer opportunities even though he was highly talented. About her character in the film, Sohini said, “It is a crime thriller but if one sees it from Jaya’s point of view, it is a love story. Jaya is a simple girl who believes in love. Vinci Da loves her madly but whether or not they unite in the end is what the audiences will have to watch out for.”
