Shagufta Rafique Ready With Her Debut Film

RBN Web Desk: Screenwriter Shagufta Rafique is ready with her debut film Mon Jaane Na. The Bengali language film has Mimi Chakraborty, Yash Dasgupta, Shataf Figar in major roles.

Mon Jaane Na is about a married couple Aamir (Yash) and Pari (Mimi) and how their lives change after a shocking turn of events. Aamir goes on to become a gangster while Pari gets addicted to narcotics. What happens next forms the crux of the film.

Shagufta has written the screenplay and dialogues for several blockbuster Hindi films like Woh Lamhe (2006), Raaz—The Mystery Continues (2009), Murder 2 (2011), and many others. She wrote the dialogues for Ankur Arora Murder Case (2013) and Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015). Shagufta also wrote the Telugu film Nee Jathaga Nenundali (2014).

Mon Jaane Na is slated to release around Holi.

The trailer of the film was released by the production house yesterday.
