Rupsha excited about her new role

Rupsha Mukherjee started her career with serials like Bhalobasha Bhalobasha and then she did Esho Ma and is now playing the lead opposite Bonny Sengupta in Pathikrit Basu’s Ke Tumi Nandini? The film also stars Rudranil Ghosh and Aparajita Auddy.Ke Tumi Nandini is the journey of a spirited young girl, Nandini (Rupsha), who is an aspiring medical student. She develops a liking for a man named Abir (Bonny), who is much older than her and a part-time fitness trainer and social worker. Over the course of the film, Nandini constantly tries to attract the attention of Abir in different ways, but he seems to be not interested in her. Will Nandini be able to make Abir fall in love with her? Will her love story have a happy ending is what this movie is all about.

Rupsha, who finished her dubbing today, said, “I don’t think I will disappoint the audience with my performance. The film is looking fresh and interesting and the on-screen jodi of Bonny and I is looking nice too. I just completed my last leg of dubbing today.”

How did she bag this role, we ask Rupsha, who will concentrate on films now and not serials from which she started her career. “I was called by the production house for an audition. And there were too many actors who came to audition for this lead role. By the grace of God, I bagged it after the audition,” said Rupsha with a smile. She added, “It was fun to work with this team. Bonny was always pulling my leg, but he is otherwise extremely helpful. I got a scolding from the director, but later, I guess he was happy with my acting.”
