Prosenjit Chatterjee shares a cute picture with ‘little Uma’ Sara Sengupta

Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Uma’ releases today and movie buffs will soon witness the magical journey of the little girl. The film has been making news ever since it was announced. On Thursday, a star-studded screening was held with eminent figures of Bengali cinema in attendance.
Recently, Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee met Sara Sengupta the star of ‘Uma’ and tweeted a cute picture with the leading lady. He captioned it, “With my, #Uma…who is going to win everyone’s heart.”

Jisshu Sengupta’s daughter Sara is making her big screen debut with this film and the director recently revealed that he created the vibrant character ‘Uma’ only keeping Sara in mind. Jisshu’s younger daughter Zara also plays a key role in the film.

Touted to be Srijit’s most ambitious project, ‘Uma’ has been inspired by the story of Canadian boy Evan Leversage, who died of cancer in 2015.
Leversage came to be known as ‘The Boy Who Moved Christmas’ when his hometown celebrated Christmas, two months in advance, to make sure the little boy could be a part of the festivities before his death.
