Priyanka is excited about Bornoporichoy

Priyanka Sarkar, who is busy promoting Mainak Bhaumik’s Bornoporichoy, is very excited about her upcoming film. Talking about it, Priyanka said that though she has acted in it, it’s the audience in her that is more eager to watch the film.

In the film, she is playing the character of Malini — wife of a police officer named Dhananjoy, played by Jisshu U Sengupta. Actor Abir Chatterjee is also part of the thriller.

Speaking about her character, Priyanka told us, “Malini is very close to her husband, but due to family issues and constant work pressure, they drift apart. But as the story moves forward, they come close again.” She said that her character needed intense acting on her part and to portray the different layers, she had to work hard and do her homework.

Mainak had assured earlier that the thriller will be full of action sequences and in terms of making and treatment, he has tried to give a completely new treatment. Probably that’s why he went to Titagarh for the shoot. The film has plenty of action along with some intriguing blast and chase sequences. To handle the stunt scenes, famous Bollywood stunt director Sunil Rodrigues was hired.

Mainak’s last film, Generation Aami, received appreciation from every corner. The film was about two teenagers and the relationship they shared with their parents. After making a number of films on relationships, the director is set for his first thriller.
