Pritam’s Foray into Tollywood, SVF playing Cupid?

Mr. Pritam Chakraborty, more popular by his mononym Pritam is a big rage in Bollywood. The ace composer who has a career spanning to more than a decade is a name to reckon with in the Hindi film industry. His songs which largely are an admixture of Indian classical music with rock or Sufi have always been chartbusters and are an instant hit with Gen Y.

How about the charismatic singer crooning or composing for our very own Bangla film industry?? Sounds thrilling……. Well who knows- yearning of millions of admirers or simply sheer destiny might have bore fruit and Pritam was in town; yes in our City of Joy, recently. The singer-songwriter managed some time off from his tight schedule as well and had sneaked a look into SVF’s office.

A picture from the meeting was soon posted from the production house’s side on Twitter featuring the vocalist along with Shrikant Mohta and filmmaker Birsa Dasgupta which became viral in no time. And this had made the Twitterrati’s go crazy with anticipation. Well, the excitement is indeed justified as the collaboration of the magnetic musician with Tollywood will undeniably be a grand incident.
