Max Fashion unveiled its Poila Boisakh Summer Collection in the presence of the team of the upcoming Bengali film Aami Ashbo Phirey. Representing the team of the film was director Anjan Dutt and Anindya Chatterjee.

Bright pop colours, ruffled silhouettes and tropical colors form the main crux of the summer collection in the women’s range. The men’s collection consists of nautical stripes and resort prints. For the kids, camo prints, neon highlights are some of the eye catching features.

Speaking about the film, Anjan Dutt said “The film showcases the life of a few individuals who go on about their lives. But they are unhappy usually. How music causes a change in their lives is what has been shown in the film”.

Anindya, who has been waiting to act in a film by Anjan Dutt, finally had his long-awaited dream fulfilled with this film. “The man whose songs I have grown up listening to, gives me a call and asks me to act in his film. That was indeed a great moment for me. Most of my scenes in the film were with him. He is an actor who is in a different league itself,” said Anindya.

The film is eyeing a 13th April release.
